 Hancock County Food Pantry Collection a Success!

The Clergy and parishioners of St. Paul's (our Greenfield Mission) collected food and cash donations at the Greenfield Wal-Mart on

Saturday, August 16th for the Hancock County Food Pantry!

He's One of Our Own!!!

Father Sean Templeton joins St. Michael's staff!!

                                                 

 

Father Sean Templeton is now a part of our staff!   Father Sean was priested in May 2008 by Bishop Roger Ames

of CANA and Bishop Frank Lyons of Bolivia.  He has moved to Muncie and will serve all our missions!

Father Tom returns from medical leave

Father Tom returned from his medical leave on June 1st following a stroke he suffered on  April 14th. 

Though he attempted a return in late April, his condition required a longer rehabilitation. 

He took part in the ordination and preached and celebrated at St. Patrick's and St. Anne's on 8th. 

Services at St. Matthew's were postponed due to the flooding in Brown County.   An audio link to the sermon is found below.

March 2008

The Reverend Sean Templeton to preach at all Missions

April 12-13

Deacon Sean Templeton is a life-long resident of Huron, Ohio. He attended Ashland University where he graduated with honours in 2005

majoring in Political Science, History and Philosophy. He will graduate from Ashland Theological Seminary with a Masters in Divinity in June.

Deacon Templeton will be ordained a priest on May first by Bishop Roger Ames of CANA. He is currently serving at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Milan, Ohio as well as  planting a church in the Fremont, Ohio area.

CANA Consecrates Four New Bishops

On Sunday, 9 December 2007, the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA) held the consecration of four new suffragan bishops

in the USA.  From left to right: Bishop Amos Fagbamiye (Indianapolis), Bishop Roger Ames (Ohio), Archbishop Peter Akinola,

Bishop David Anderson (Atlanta), and Bishop Nathan Kanu (Oklahoma).  These four will join Missionary Bishop Martyn Minns and

Suffragan Bishop David Bena in leading CANA.

St. Michael the Archangel transfers into CANA

In October, Bishop Lyons of Bolivia and Bishop Minns of CANA completed our transfer from the Church of Bolivia into CANA,

Welcome to Our New Deacons!

Our former Bishop, the Right Reverend Frank Lyons, Bishop of Bolivia, was in Indiana making his Visitation for both Confirmation and Ordination.

All three Missions of St. Michael the Archangel gathered together on Saturday, September 29th (St. Michael and All Angels Day)

 for a service of Ordination and Confirmation.  We welcome our two new deacons the Rev. Dan Conley and the Rev. PT Morgan, and our confirmands,

Stephanie Tirman, Scotty Tirman, John Crowmer and Daniel Crowmer!
